Fitness is an individual journey

There are no secret workouts or diets...I hate the word diet since it means short term success, not actual life change. I see a million "gurus" and "experts" that claim all sorts of bullshit about super awesome equipment or supplements or magic foods. Do you guys and gals want the secret...do you? HARD WORK is the secret. Being fit (and staying fit)is no different than striving for success at any other facet of your life. If you put in the time,effort and discipline you will get more fit...if not then don't bitch when you aren't fit. You made the choice to eat poorly, you made the choice to skip workouts, you made the choice to stand around and talk at the gym instead of working hard. I don't want to hear the whole "but I don't know what to do" cop-out. Most of us learned proper eating by the time we were in 1st grade. Eat fruit and veg, not too much sweets and junk, choose water more than juice, don't ruin meals by eating crap before hand. It doesn't matter so much WHAT you do, but HOW you do it. Find activities you enjoy, get off your lazy ass and go do them. We're all busy and tired so suck it up and get busy living!
