New Balance Minimus Review+ shoe education

So I bought some NB Minimus trail shoes a couple of weeks ago. I have been more than impressed w these shoes...I would even say that I LOVE THEM! They weigh close to nothing...could float into the air like a balloon if you let go of them. There is such a great feeling of support from all portions of your foot, heel, mid tarsal, toe box, etc... They also give you the benefit of barefoot training keeping your feet strong. Most shoes today actually weaken your feet by providing too much of the wrong type of support...think of the douche bag that wears a weight belt every time he hits a workout causing his back to depend on the belt thus becoming weak.If you use olympic lifts normal shoes are awful, this is why serious olympic lifters have used wrestling shoes or Chuck Taylor's forever. They're flat or have very little grade/angle between the toe and heel (i.e. "minimus" minimal weight and minimal angle). There are many types/versions of the minimus such as trail, running, winter runner, training...maybe more. I love the trail for it's complete ventilation, sturdy tread (but flat and stable) and its ability to dry so quickly. I can honestly say that they are worth every penny ($80) and I have never enjoyed a workout shoe more. Great for running, box jumps, olympic lifts, walking...you name it. If you train hard..if it's a lifestyle...do yourself and your feet a favor and pick some up. In all I give the New Balance Minimus trail shoes 3 thumbs up...because they give me a boner.
